Luck or edge?
Upload your trade history. We check whether your result is an edge or chance — the same way we test our own strategies.
How to export a report from MetaTrader
You save the HTML report in desktop MetaTrader (Windows or Mac) — the mobile app shows your history but can't save it to a file. Menu names may differ slightly between versions.
MetaTrader 5
- Open the Toolbox window — shortcut Ctrl+T.
- Go to the History tab.
- Right-click the table and choose the period: All History or a custom period.
- Right-click again and choose Report → HTML.
- Save the file (e.g. ReportHistory-12345678.html) and load it here.
MetaTrader 4
- Open the Terminal window — shortcut Ctrl+T.
- Go to the Account History tab.
- Right-click the table and choose All History.
- Right-click again and choose Save as Detailed Report.
- Save the file (e.g. DetailedStatement.htm) and load it here.
Only have a phone? Type your results into the tool's “Paste results” tab or log your trades in the journal — it works on phones too.
The file never leaves your computer — the site reads it in your browser. The report contains your account number and name, so don't share it unless you need to. Guide on its own page
Example data: 150 trades of a made-up trend-following strategy. Load your own to see your verdict.
Everything runs in your browser. Your file is never uploaded anywhere.

How we calculate
- 90% range: bootstrap — 10,000 resamples with replacement from your results.
- Losing streak: exact probability for your win rate and number of trades (independent trades).
- Drawdown: 2,000 random orders of the same trades.
- Trades needed: (2 × spread ÷ average)².
- R = result ÷ the trade's risk. From a report, risk comes from the stop-loss. If the stop was moved close to entry or is missing, we assume a fixed risk: the median risk of the other trades, or the median loss.
